Shouldn't a game victory bring me a higher score than my opponent? The interim scores in the ongoing second game look inverted too.

Hi!

Yes, you should get more points for a win...

I take it that you defeated TheHistoryGuy in your first game? Were you playing as Union or CSA?

Thanks,

Union and it declared a US victory (more points and CSA limited to 1 objective if memory serves me)

Second game has now ended with another contrary score, despite my CSA victory; I have the full outcome details if required. So despite winning both my cumulative score is 10 compared to my opponent's 30.

In my first game against YppY the match finished with the CSA holding 3 victory locations and with around 30 more VP's than the Union. The score reported by the tournament for that match was 17-3 for the Union, this doesn't seem to make much sense to me.

I just played in the latest Heroes of Normandie tournament, and that one had lots of scoring issues, too.

That does sound like the exact opposite score is being recorded in both those cases....

Assuming the winning scores have been reversed there also seems to be a flaw when we compare winning scores. YueJin notes that his CSA victory was achieved with 3 objectives and more than 30 victory points over that gained by the Union. In my CSA victory - the result was 6 objectives and more than 90 points over the Union, and yet the former game has 17 as the victory score (assuming inversion) and my game had a winning score of only 15 (again assuming inversion).

Found the issue with the tournament scoring. It happened in a specific situation where the client would keep the players in a reverse order than the backend server. Working on the fix now.

Ironclad, you're right. The game should award 20 points for any CSA player holding more than 5 objectives. I've checked the scoring and it should work fine in the next patch.

Thanks, good to know that I can start playing my second round matches now with this being sorted.
