We knew the old ones would be purged but can't seem to find recent games like HON or Carrier Deck?
Can anyone access them?

I'm sorry for this. They should be back tomorrow.
Re: All Slitherine Apps Gone from AppStore?
Thanks VPaulus - I had some concern that the 32 bit App-ocalypse as they call it, had already hit Slitherine and took a bit more than was planned =)

It was the joy of Apple. The auto renew failed on our developer subscription as the card registered had expired. Rather than warn us of this in advance or ask for an alternative payment method Apple immediately and automatically removes everything from the store till you pay £69. Doesn't mater that you've been working with them for years with dozens of releases and millions of dollars of revenue and have thousands of dollars outstanding due to us. Yes I am a little irritated....

Ah .... unfortunate - that a solid gaming platform for mobile is marred by the idiotic management and policies of Apple.
I clung to IOS for a while due to the user experience I had vs. Android - which I think is horrible. (i.e. - I don't want to hack my device and force clear data / kill processes in order to install games)
I don't have marshmallow or any of the higher candies ... but it just was not worth it.
With IOS - 99% of the Apps I installed worked with out any annoying fiddling around and used all available memory so games like Pike and Shot ran well.
But now, their horrible management and even greater emphasis on Freemium gump such as Clash of Clans etc has soured me to their platform.
I just picked up a new 2017 iPAD so will keep it for what will remain viable - but I think, for serious mobile war gamers - IOS is on its way out.
Surface Pro is looking better all the time ...

Better Slitherine to focus of their future games to be working well the Surface Pro, I dont have it yet but I am going to get it, Apple policy will not serious wargamer on the long term.
Re: All Slitherine Apps Gone from AppStore?
Agreed.
On a side note, here is an interesting article on the subject:
http://www.thunderboltgames.com/feature ... le-devices
The Nostalgia aspect may be a factor that could be useful in marketing. This was shown with Baldur's Gate successful mobile sales (and other Infinity Engine games as well).
But this would probably not work out for war gaming all that well - since Baldur's Gate reaches out to a far broader audience of folks that originally purchased and enjoyed those games.
Would something like Kampfgruppe or Age of Rifles - with similar modern touch-ups and port to mobile be as successful ? (obviously - they would never match in total sales - but rather would have to be evaluated by factoring in the usual popular genre vs war games sales ratio)
On a personal note - Nostalgia did move me to recently buy HexWar's Great Battles of the American Civil War.
While better ACW games have come out on PC over the years - the fond memories of playing SPI's Terrible Swift Sword board game with friends decades ago inspired me to go on the AppStore and grab it.

I think rooting any phone is great experience. I could do many things with root access. That's awesome.
As for iOS, i used it for a period from 2010-2013. I have to tell the fact that i couldn't do many things without jailbreak. That's the reason i switched to Android. Today, some iOS fan say that jailbreak is unnecessary on iOS, which is a good news but rooting android phone is still so much fun.
