General in front rank improves quality or just combat rolls?

General in front rank improves quality or just combat rolls?

If you have a general in the front rank, it "temporarily improves a unit's quality". Does that improve the unit's auto-break level?

"This improves its fighting ability by enhancing its quality re-rolls on close combat "to hit" rolls."
