BETA PATCH 3.3.9

Patch 3.3.9 will soon be available through the auto update system, and as a full installer in about a week (hopefully). It contains a significant amount of fixes - and code changes - so if anyone is willing to test the patch before it goes live, that would be greatly appreciated.

To install it, simply take the following steps:
  • Launch the game
  • Press SHIFT + C to open the console
  • Type or paste "#patch patch3.3.9" (without quotation marks)
  • Click the confirm button and allow the game to restart after the download is completed
IMPORTANT: After applying this update you will not be able to accept PBEM multiplayer until the patch goes live. To avoid this, you can make a copy of the entire game folder and launch the exe in there, then take the steps above.

Changelog v3.3.9
  • PBEM multiplayer replay fixes
  • Fixed bug in MAC version of the auto patching system
  • Airstrip construction bug fixed
  • When a commander is detached from a unit, it now displays the correct name (Note: this does not fix previous logs)
  • Empty hangars are correctly removed if the only aircraft inside is disbanded
  • When a unit runs into unspotted mines it will now always suffer 1+ damage, even when the mines or the victim are on lower strength
  • Damage taken from clearing mines by moving into them
  • German Uboats stat tweaks
  • Fixed bug preventing seaplanes from drawing air supply from airfields if no carrier is present
  • Fixed bug in purchase screen that prevented displaying certain transportation types
  • Fixed bug that prevented restarting a scenario from the defeat event popup
  • Editor: Fixed bugs related to deleting a nation
  • Editor: Fixed bug that prevented saving a multiplayer map twice without reloading
  • Editor: Cloning an Event Popup trigger effect now also copies the original's text and title
  • Editor: Trigger controls now display legacy duplicate nations such as "US Army" if they are present in the scenario

I noticed that after installing patch 3.3.9 I can't open autosave campaign...

I can't open autosave campaign...
Oops :roll:

Please take the same steps again to reapply the (updated) patch and these should both be fixed.

Trying out a simple mod; changing the cargo from 3 to 4 for the Lexington carrier.
This crashes the game upon loading, just leaves the screen black.

@calm: ah, crap, I totally forgot to add this Jap T-26 to my list. I guess someone else here forgot about to fix it too from the older topic here:

It's rather a funny that no one seem to have bothered about this since the Morning Sun Beta test so far as this is the non-wreck texture missing what everyone should normally notice while playing. Can't remember how you got this bonus unit again or maybe it was removed from the campaign?
Oh well, it's still BETA, so still a chance to fix this now. :)

This is fixed in the full patch installer that will come later. It's not something we can fix through auto-patches because of the filesize of the packed resources files.

I'm working on a naval campaign and have created two new scenarios in 3.3.9
Looks the save button issue is fixed. Yaaah!

3.4.0 is the live version of 3.3.9

It does include a couple of fixes introduced in 3.3.9 (beta) and BB secondary gun ranges are fixed/tweaked.

Modding the max number of air units in a carrier still crashes the game.
