The 1944 JAVA crash

I am running the latest version with the JAVA patch.

When I go from December 29, 1943 into 1944 the game crashes. When I hit control-alt-delete there is a Java active window icon but no program.

I have replicated this error by going back to a previous save, working through 4-6 turns, and then get the same crash going into 1944.

Suggestions?

Send the save to me and I will check it out. I assume you are using Patch 1.06 (can be seen in main menu down right corner showing v1.06).
