Post by spedius01 »

Ave,

How many of you have adopted these mods that we're introducing?

Have they added to your enjoyment of the game or made it confusing?

Would you like us to continue discovering more areas of the game to mod?

I'm currently reading through localisation.txt file, and resarching roman history in Japanese.
Tribes' names and historical figures' names and things like that, some are famous, some are not so famous, though,
there are some historical fans, fiction writers, scholars in Japan, so I want to make sure they discern the word I choose,
if some of them happened to get mod-Japanese.

So instead of playing, I get into the mountain of texts.
And it is really interesting, ghost knights, ghost legions, thunderbolts, and some I'm not so sure, but bonus campaign? or like that.
And there are system messages for scenario constrcution.

I have not seen much of the stuff in "localisation.txt," nor have I used anyone else's mod (so far). But I am trying to help balance the game right now (by messing with the figures). I just need to get some good calculations.

Ave grimsta,

Good luck with your first time through the campaigns, it's quite an experience.

Get back to me once you've finished, I'd be interested to know what you thought of the game.

Ave tora_tora_tora,

How is the tranlating going? It's a huge task that you've undertaken for yourself. Good luck.

Ave fatetriarrii,

I was most impressed with your post on calculations within Legion Arena. Very detailed and , I trust, accurate?

What final conclusions did you reach, is the game well balanced? Or is it slightly tilted in favour of one side over the other?

Maybe I could assist with the calculations? What are you trying to do?

Ave possum,

What was your impression of the game, looking at it from the Celtic viewpoint? Did being able to play a longer Celtic/Roman campaign add to your enjoyment? You certainly had more time to fully develop your units. I bet your favourite militia were racking up monumental xp and levels?

In the short time I've been a member of the community, I've never known you to be terse and less than articulate when you have something to say. Do I take it you don't approve of where we're going with Legion Arena? Can you not feel the buzz of excitement all this activity has generated in the Legion Arena community? Or maybe it's just me wishing it were so? What do you really think?
