I suppose the Sanctus Reach AI engine is loosely based on Battle Academy 2 engine; i found that in skirmishes the AI prefers to seek and destroy my units than taking VPs, i a custom Small AI attack Vs my defend the AI wasted some time (skirmish turn limit 12) on smashing my rhino transport instead of taking the vital second VP, thus i won by 2:1.
This might be bypassed by the player allowing more turns in a skirmish, but, i think that this might be interesting for future AI development.
That said, the game is just awesome, it is W40k tabletop on my computer and i will thank you everyday for that (and ... you know, bring more amry lists
