FIELD OF GLORY TO BE TRANSLATED INTO FOUR LANGUAGES
French, German, Italian and Spanish versions arrive in February 2009

Slitherine and Osprey Publishing are delighted to announce that due to popular demand Field of Glory the wargame rules that have taken the wargaming world by storm will soon be available in four new languages: French, Germany, Italian and Spanish.
Since its launch in February 2008 Field of Glory has been an incredible success globally and has been taken up by players across the wargaming community. JD McNeil Director of Slitherine commented on the success of the rules developed by his team:
‘Wargaming has always been popular in many different countries and it was our ambition from the very start of the Field of Glory project to translate the rules into all major European Languages, exactly as we do with our computer games. This is a huge new step for wargaming and it will allow players from around the world to meet and fight their battles to a common rule set’
The rules will be published by Osprey Publishing and made available to vendors across the relevant countries. Richard Sullivan, Marketing Director of Osprey Publishing is very pleased with the development:
‘The European market has always been very important to us and we are very pleased to be able to bring Field of Glory to a new set of customers who may have been excluded by the language barrier before. We will be making the rules available online and through both our existing network of book and hobby stores as well as anyone else interested in stocking them’
