Liaison officer
hello - I played the Syria scenario in AK yesterday and just left the paratroopers out in the Med until I had destroyed most of the enemy units. I figured more paratroopers would survive that way. However, when the paratroopers took the airfield with about 4 turns to spare, no bf110 appeared there for the rest of the scenario. What's the trick I'm missing?

Re: Liaison officer
I just checked in my video. The airfield is marked with "C" and the BF spawns one hex to the north. So maybe you blocked that hex with one of you fighters? Don't know if that can be an issue. Other than that I do not know what could be the issue.

Re: Liaison officer
Well
I had that effect of the missing plane before as well, not on one of the current playthroughs though.
Also I never waited with the paras that long. Maybe there is something in the in's and out's of the scenario that we can not see at first glance.
I can not really help other than that I restarted the scenario back then took the field as early as possible and kept the paras up there in defensive positions til almost all things were settled. Not too hard to keep them alive and give a liitle assistance here and there (e.g if things go really well and the allied airforce is done you can sent paras to the far away hexes like the southeast one and get some extra prestige collected), also the bf 110 is a valuable extra unit that has to be guarded well enough to survive of course, but an extra bf 110 is always a welcome asset.
Watchout there are some scenarios where the briefing is not too reliable
On Second offensive you have to take the western hex before turn 9 or 10 or yxou will miss 3 very valuable bonus units

Ah I reloaded a save and turns out I actually was blocking the BF110 appearance with a plane - thanks for the help!
