Burton Doubles 2017

Hi Everyone,

I'm pleased to post details of next year's FOG Ancients Doubles at Burton.

18th & 19th February 2017. The Meadowside Leisure Centre, HIgh Street, Burton upon Trent, DE14 1TL.

FOG Ancients Doubles, 900 points any book 501AD--1149AD. £34.00 per team.

Entries to me please dgreen@green2004.fslife.co.uk

Registration will be from 8.30am. Games on both days will be 9.30am--1.00pm and 2.00pm--5.30pm.

Please note the new venue. We spent six months negotiating with the old venue but it fell through at the last minute.

Unfortunately I'm waiting for one list. I have emailed the culprit earlier today, so we'll see if I get a response.

That would be why I couldn't find it. The main problem of course, is that I thought Badcon was taking place on 25/26th February and not the 17th/18th February.... Que hasty amendment of plans....

Good spread of armies??? my foot!

There are only 4 types

walls of fast knights (9) ... yawn..

walls of dailami. (4).. yawn again

odds and sods... elephants, Koreans? and some fryd...

imaginative and original... yes the early scots....
