Game settings advanced tab missing (on PC)

Hello, everyone!

I recently returned to Panzer Corps after a long hiatus, and decided to start a new campaign in Afrika Korps.
But after playing through the first two battles I realized that I had overestimated my rusty skills and had to
lower the difficulty. "No problem", I thought, "It's only two battles. I'll just start over and set it to the level
I want."

But the next time I started the game up and chose "New Game", the "advanced" tab was missing from the
"game settings" window. I could only see the five basic levels (sergeant to field marshall) and the four options
underneath those. I was confused but figured that something had gone wrong with the installation, so I started
over and installed AK Again, seemingly without problems. But the issue remained.

Apart from this issue the game plays without any problems whatsoever. I am using Windows 8.1, and as far as I
can see, it's AK version 1.10. Can any of you tell me where it went wrong?

Once you have downloaded the file please unzip it. Run the extracted file to update the game.
