"In the Clear" Mission help needed

I have been stuck for quite some time on the "In the Clear" mission in the Commonwealth campaign. (It's the last mission of part 1.)

Unless I am mistaken, there are only two routes to cross the river. The AI uses the armored vehicles to block both routes. It refuses to move either vehicle, at least enough so I can get around it. Even if I destroy a vehicle, it sits there blocking my path across the river.

Is anyone else experiencing this problem?

Hi Kilarney,

If your Cromwell or bazooka unit are still alive, you can shoot the panzer wreck out of the way, if the god of dice is on your side tho

That is one way to get to the other side, the other is to have the pz IV moving towards you with a few of your units as baits, get it moving and hopefully destroy it, place your units ready first ( Cromwell and bazooka ). Not sure if the pz II will move out of the bridge, been awhile since I played it.
