HoN for iOs: a short FAQ!

Hi everyone!

As you surely know by now, the iOs version of Heroes of Normandie was published last week, and we are still very excited about that! A lot of new players jumped onboard and the servers are thriving right now. So, if you bought the game for PC and you want some fresh competition, this is the time to start some multiplayer games!

We had a lot of questions, suggestions and reports in these last days, and we’re doing our best to process them all. I’d really like to address some of the most frequently asked questions here.

1. What are the differences between the iOs and the PC version?
None whatsoever! That’s right: every single feature available on PC is also in the iOs version. This includes the Editor and the DLCs, and our intention is to keep full compatibility for the future.

2. I have the PC version. If I buy the iOs version do I have to re-play every mission?
No! If you are registered, all your progress is on our servers. Just log-in in the iOs version and you’ll find all your scores and achievements. Your progress is always automatically synchronized with our servers every time you enter the game.

3. I have bought the iOs version. Can I play against PC players?
Yes! Our multiplayer is fully cross-platform, so it doesn’t matter if you are a PC or an iOs player: you can play with whomever you want!

4. I have an [Insert iOs Device Here]. Will HoN run on it? What about iPhones?
HoN is a universal app. This means that if you buy it you can use it on iPhones and iPads.
We support iPhones from model 5 on, and iPad from model 3 on.
For an optimal experience, we recommend an iPhone 6 or above, for the larger screen (playing on an iPhone Plus is a joy). For iPads, we recommend a model 4 or above. If you have an iPad Pro, you have to optimal device for HoN.

We hope you’ll have fun playing HoN on iOs. For every suggestion or problem, please talk about it in detail on this forum. If it’s a suggestion, we’ll gladly listen and discuss it, if it’s a problem, we’ll try to analyze it and sort it out with your help!

We are about to release a patch to fix some iOs issues that some player have promptly reported on this forum: among many other little fixes we will allow the screen autorotation, which is currently disabled, and we’ll fix Julie, who is not unlocked after the tutorial completion
