Genoese crossbowmen colors?

Hello all,

I'm starting to paint up my medieval French and have come to something troublesome.... my BG of Genoese crossbows. Most of my French army has the blue and gold theme, whether it's the ancient French symbols or more "Joan-ish" heraldry. I like to keep things simple when it comes to colors.

But I suspect the Genoese probably had their own banners/standards/colors. A quick google search didn't turn up much, but I was wondering if this esteemed learned community would be able to provide any insight. Thanks folks!
