Tamil Indian/Sinhalese

Post by richardsd »

I have been trying to work up a FOG list for these guys so here are the some of things I have been toying with (list is for the later period, would be post 300AD if you looked at the DBM list).

For the main foot I think they should be:

MF Protected Undrilled Average Impact foot Swordsman BG's of 8-12
MF Protected/Unprotected Undrilled Average Bowman BG's of 6-8 (Sinhalese would only get 1 or maybe 2 Protected BG's)
MF Protected Undrilled Average Heavy Weapon 1 BG of 4-6

LF Unprotected Average/Poor Bw BG's of 4-8
MOB Unprotected Poor (up to half with Bw for Chola) BG's of 6-12

Now dealing with the Chola is where I get into trouble. I think they should be drilled (but wonder if it should be a choice?) and I think they should get to be superior based on their ability vs traditional opponents (or should that just be a couple of units? or none?)

so thoughts?
