scenario editor & center on hex
Hello,
I am trying to create a scenario.
I just have a remark: it seems that it is impossible to use the fonction "center on hex(,)" at the beginning of the first turn of the first player. The game centers automatically in the same place.
For the first turn of the second player, it works.
Is it a small bug ?
Thanks

Mhh, I never noticed that. Did you try to choose "Instantly" on the "Run at" box?.

Yes, I tried. It doesn't work.It seems to be a detail but I wanted to show the main objective at the beginning of the game

Re: scenario editor & center on hex
Try doing it in two steps:
Beginning of T1 for first player, set tag "something" (here you can put anything as the tag)
Then:
Instantly when tag "something" exists, centre on hex. (use the same tag as before)
----------------------
That will have the exact same effect as if you just had T1 = centre on hex, but should avoid the bug as the game won't think it to be the start of the turn. (Actually it isn't, it will be a few milliseconds after the start, but no one is able to tell the difference).

Attach a message? For instance, "these are the objectives we have to capture"

Re: scenario editor & center on hex
It seems like I've had similar problems with center on hex actions but I have yet to try it as BNC suggests. I'll have to play around with that.

I forgot about the tickboxes. Have you selected the side it is meant to centre for. If none are ticked, it won't centre no matter what other stuff you put in the command.
