MF Axemen

Post by hercimurthemediocre »

Will their be any such animal as an MF Axeman in the comming Dark Age lists? In the process of painting some for a demo game but don't want to have to rebase in the future.

I have a feeling that the only medium foot heavy weapon in the dark ages book are Irish but that you will be allowed a LOT of them if you want.

Since there are Irish in the Irish-Dane army, I suspect that troop type may be used there as well.

Not if their formation was less cohesive such as might be used fighting Welsh in their home terrain - which is, IIRC, where the lightened huscarls are recorded.
