The Bagley did a sonar sweep, found nothing.
Then the 7-strength support ship tried to move into the location north of Bagley and bumped into the Japanese sub.
One of the other DDs performed a sweep, still no contact with the sub...
The light cruiser tried to move onto the location, the bugger is still there.
Multiplayer, so unfortunately no save.
I have added the output_log if it is any help.

Re: Stealth sub?
Subs won't be detected by sonar if they haven't moved in the previous turn. However I remember there was a bugfix recently for not being able to attack after running into such a sub and revealing it. So hopefully this is solved in the next update.
Re: Stealth sub?
Thanks
Re: Stealth sub?
Looks familiar!
I missed that bit of the action, so I can't help. We'll see what happens in your next turn, up loading mine shortly.
Thinking about it if I don't move and you see it, it's doomed. If I move it will be seen and with multiple depth charge attacks (both cases) it'll probably go to the bottom.
Submarines need looking at (is that a pun?) otherwise when OoB reaches the North Atlantic the Allies won't need any help from Bletchley Park

Re: Stealth sub?
Turn sent, sub didn't move, fingers crossed.
Re: Stealth sub?
Rammed the sub and this turn it was detected. Bye-bye.

The story of submarines in OoB, perhaps they ought to be renamed Bye-bye boats!Erik wrote:Bye-bye.
