Air units flanking bonus?

It looks like the strategic bomber over Rangoon gets a flanking bonus (blue cross under figther). Intended?

weird.

I'm thinking what actually might be happening, is that you are seeing the flanking chance from ground units bleeding through to the air visuals (no flanking bonus for air, just looks like it).

There's no enemy land unit under the bomber, so that can't be it.
