Manual does not appear

Sengoku Jidai: Shadow of the Shogun is a turn-based tactical and strategic game set during this turbulent time; primarily focusing on the Japanese Warring States period and Japanese Invasion of Korea. Other armies from East Asia are also made available to simulate different conflicts across the region.

Manual does not appear

Post by ulysisgrunt »

I was able to open and safe the three PDF files for the FOG-R rules and army books.
I cannot open the manual for Sengoku Jidai. I click on it, and nothing happens....

What? Over? Did you say "over"? Nothing is over until we decide it is! Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor? Hell no!

Hi Danny.

There does seem to be a problem with the Game Manual button on the Slitherine version of the launcher. It works fine on the STEAM version.

This will no doubt get sorted out fairly soon, but in the meantime the Manuals can found as follows:

1) Go to Windows Start button.
2) Select "All Programs" or "All Apps" depending on which version of Windows you are using.
3) Select Sengoku Jidai.

There you will find shortcuts to all versions of the Manual.

confirmed, site version doesn't open manual, in CE everything else works, on steam everything works as designed including manual, easy to fix, minor error and already a work around above

Many thanks.
I purchased the download version from Matrix (together with box).
The manual was where you said it would be.

I still don't know how to get the manual. I bought the game from Matrix games, so I don't think it will work with steam

either follow the link to the site version above and manually open it for now until a patch is made, or as you have the site version, the serial you have is also the steam key, so if you wish, you can load the steam version as well, as that doesn't have the error the site version has atm and does open the manual from the first game page, but for me i'd just search the game install folder as it takes 2 seconds, re post back if you have any problems
