Panzer Corps noobie

Post by MrDave »

Good morning everyone.
I just found this game and just started learning how to play. Played Steel Panthers way back when and this seems somewhat similar. Love that I can play it on my new, though, 2nd hand Surface Pro 3.
I've played through the tuts several times to get my sea legs. Started that 1939 campaign. I'd like to ask what I need to do to get a harbor in Norway to repair/resupply my ships. I have "captured" it with my infantry.
Thanks for the assist.

I`m not sure if you can repair ships at all. But even if you could, why would you want to do that?
They aren`t core troops anyways. And if it`s possible to repair them it must be exremely expensive.
Doesn`t resupply for ships, as long as they are in a port, work like it does for all other units?

From what I remember when you have captured a port (showing your flag) then you need to vacate it, when it's empty you can move your ship into that hex, next turn it will have been supplied.

I only used this for the small boats (MTB?) with 2 ammo.
Don't know if you can actually repair ships aswell.

You can repair ships in harbors you own, but you do not want to do that as it wastes a lot of prestige that you will need later in the game.
Just resupply them and use them to weaken the entrenchment of the enemy.
