Germans speak German - Add-on for RSM
This is a small Add-on for the "Real Sound Mod" by VPaulus.
It adds about 50 new movement sounds for nearly every German unit in German language to the existing "RSM" sounds.
Installation:
This little sub-mod bases on the "Real Sound Mod" - so "RSM" must be installed first.
Make a backup of the existing "efx.pzdat" in the "Graphics" folder!
Unzip the mod files.
Overwrite the old "efx.pzdat" file with the new one.
Copy and paste the sound files in the "MoveSfx" subfolder of the "Audio" folder.
Or use the Generic Mod Enabler.
Download: http://www.mediafire.com/download/3p8q9 ... SM_1.25.7z
Credits:
Puma for providing the soundfiles
VPaulus for making the "Real Sound Mod"
And of course the whole Panzer Corps team for making this great game.

Re: Germans speak German - Add-on for RSM
Many thanks for share the MOD Ralle!
I´ve compared the efx File from this MOD with the original v1.25. In your efx File there are many more entries in the #Alias Section of the file in contrast to the original 1.25 file.
Are these the only changes in contrast to the original file?
Background of my question is, that I use an own modded efx file that based on RSM MOD. And I want to merge the changes from your MOD to my file.
Thanks in forward!

Re: Germans speak German - Add-on for RSM
I didn`t change anything in the #Aliases section.
I only exchanged one of the original double movement sounds with a new one. And that`s further down the file in #Effects table.
Edit: I just checked it again. The first difference between the original efx.pzdat and mine is in line 233.

Yes, now I fully understand the system. Thanks, now I can put the entries to my efx file!Ralle wrote: Edit: I just checked it again. The first difference between the original efx.pzdat and mine is in line 233.

EDIT: When I understand correct, the entries of your MOD are only in the "Sound2" Section from Movement Sounds, correct?
Re: Germans speak German - Add-on for RSM
Sound2 or Sound3 depending on where the double original entry was. If there was any.
Edit: In case there was no double entry I simply added my sound instead of exchanging one.

Re: Germans speak German - Add-on for RSM
You`re welcome! I hope everything is working now.

Yes, it works fine!Ralle wrote:I hope everything is working now.

Again many thanks!
Re: Germans speak German - Add-on for RSM
Are these random each time or does the unit *still* repeat the same line during the turn (like it was in other voice mods)?
Re: Germans speak German - Add-on for RSM
Each unit has 3 movement sounds in total. 1 of them is with voice, the other 2 are from Real Sound Mod Redux.
Which one of them is played is random.
Which one of them is played is random.
Re: Germans speak German - Add-on for RSM
I realized I already got over 200 downloads.
I think that`s not bad for a private mod.
Thanks guys for using it...
