In the photo above both light horse have broken their opponents and will pursue in the direction of the measuring stick. The top unit with darker bases would hit the second pursuing unit in the flank if they moved first. It was just a flank attack which is not obvious from the picture.
We could not find anything in the initial pursuit or pursuing in the JAP to cover this situation. So the only thing we could do was to move both units their pursuit and ignore the other pursuing unit
