A question
Hello,
First of all I am sorry for the bad use of the English language. I have a question. I bought that game before 3 days and i already love it. I use to play paradox grand strategy games like CK2 or HOI3, or other strategy games (even like a child I used to play many hourse the Advanced Wars. Now i am historian (my field is byzantine history) so i found the game incredibly realistic (more than Medieval Wars for example).
So here is my question. I am interesting more in medieval periods (especially Byzantine, and the crusade period). Now i have only the Gore Game and the Rise of Rome because i have seen that is necessary for having DAG. Do i have for examples to buy Immortal Fire to take the "better AI" -as it show in its features"- or I can simply go with the packs that I like without caring to lost some of them? For example if i didnt bought RoR would i have DAG i would buy only the vanilla game plus The Decline and the Fall?
Thanks in advance,
Nikiforos Greece

Re: A question
Hi,
Just buy those you like.
And if you play with other players, you don't have to worry about the AI.

Re: A question
DAF is an underrated and underplayed expansion. You may enjoy SAS better if you're interested in Crusades.

Re: A question
I got it. I really loved it, and even though i find the arab armies superior to the byzantines, i can accept it because it is the right way. I also loved Daylami. The only nation's armythat curiously is missing is Armenia of Bagratuni Era. It would give DaF some good historical battles

Re: A question
I have another question.
If a choose to play a mp Dag game using the "Quick match" button (the one that gives you a 400 pt army) does it means that also my opponent will have to choose his army this way or he can simply choose himself the bg's which will consist his 400 pts army?

Re: A question
Your opponent will get to select an army from a limited list of available armies, but they'll have no control over the units they end up fighting the battle with. The army composition will have been chosen for them.
