to convert or not to convert, that is the question......

When you get super-rudel in minsk do you convert him to a fighter bomber or anything else?. pro's and con's?
I am thinking ahead for the later GC years when it gets very tough for the airforce, what is best for then?.

I usually convert Fighting Rudel to a 410 when that becomes available so he can help against bombers and damaged fighters. While he can often cope without a fighter escort as a Stuka, the Me410 has a better chance of deterring attacks by older fighters and of doing some decent damage if he is attacked. Having said that, if you don't mind sending an escort he makes a very good tank buster Stuka and is good in the Hs129 (which shares the love more evenly between soft and hard targets).

I don't often use Recon Rudel, but upgrading to a 110 gives him a total 4 spotting which can be useful, although his ground attack suffers badly and he probably won't do any damage other than removing entrenchment.
