Saved files disappeared

My Panzercorps Soviet corps saved games have all disappeared. I used the game last night and then this morning all saved games had gone. I have not deleted them either through the game or on my PC. This has also happened to me previously with Battle academy 2 and I have not had this issue with any other game. Any ideas?

The save files can be found at:
...\Documents\My Games\Panzer Corps\Save

If they aren't there I can only see two things happens:

1 - Human - Someone moved or deleted them

2 - Anti-virus (or any other Internet security program) - moved them away to quarantine or delete them.
