What does this mean

Sometimes units will have a the letter T in a small circle next to their icon. What does that mean?

You are beyond your railhead and are using trucks to provide supply to your forward troops. Rail heads (ie converting rail gauge from Narrow to wide and Visa versa).

Western Allies and Axis use narrow gauge. Russians have Wide gauge

Technicality - The Western Allies and Axis use 'Standard' gauge, 'Narrow' gauge is even smaller and in use on industrial sites (mining) and some countries' main lines, such as New Zealand today. :)
