Been Away From the Game for a While: How Has OOB progressed?

Hey guys,

I was really big into OOB for a while, playing it on the release date and beating both campaigns multiple times. I was a little bit annoyed at certain aspects of the game like the faction perks (can't remember the name, but choosing Bushido or Banzai Charges, that sort of thing) being really weak and inconseqential and the AI turns sometimes taking ridiculously long. At the time it seemed like the devs were more concerned with releasing the Mac version than fixing these issues so I lost interest in the game for a long time. I see a new expansion is coming out so I thought about getting back into it. Have these two issues been fixed? Also, is the Battle of Britain expansion worth playing? How has the general development of the game been since the early release?

Well, there were some changes:

- experience gain was increased in campaign
- torpedo only planes can now be changed to bombers
- there were several performance improvements
- several game crashing bugs were fixed

However:

- specializations remains the same
- several minor bugs remains unfixed even though reported a long time ago (like friendly fire bug)

And as far as I can discern there have been no improvements to the A.I. since release date.
