Field of Glory (Unity) pre-release announcement

Hello guys,

Slitherine set up the release date for the FoG(U) for Windows and OSX (v2.5.02.1042 (GM2e)(mod) release build) on 7th July 2016!

The owners of the old FoG(RB) and all the addons can use the same serials to activate all of them in the FoG(U). The new Wolves from the Sea and Oath of Fealty (which actually is a double addon, containing both OOF Early and OOF Late addons at the price of a single addon) addons will be available for purchase from their own Slitherine web shop pages (see the above links - which need to be updated).

Thank you all.

Please do mind that even if most of the FoG(U) was a solitary effort, a big part of WFS, OFE and OFL data work was made by Richard (including all the scenarios which were made entirely by him), and that all of FoG(U)'s tens of new maps were provided by Lysimachos and stockwellpete.

On Friday 29th January we've prepared the Gold Master build for Windows and MacOS for Slitherine. Both the live and the beta FoG(U) servers were set to use this rev 1024 GM1b version.

The FoG(U) v2.4.1024 GM1b (mod) build contains the Unity 5 engine upgrade, the new sound cache system (which brings an increase in performance in between 10% and 35%), the new automatic deployment system (which even in its current almost skeletal form seems to be better than the old FoG(RB)'s one) and various fixes and optimizations.

Other than that, the release date is to be officially announced by Slitherine, and not by me.

in the mean time, the gold master build reached it's 4th update, v2.4.01.1030 and has a new game saves list dynamic update system,a new smart default FoW system, a new game saves list dynamic update code, and all of that besides scores of various fixes and optimizations
