This is an extremely early date for cutting of the Germans, but the AI doesn't really care for its line of supply.

3. Consider revamping your Victory Points Scheme.

657!!! - I did not initiate any fights, except to pour as many Germans over the Meuse as possible and still keep my line of supply open

The "parking lot" on the other side of the Meuse is much to valuable.
At the moment, leaving the map even on the last day is worth -2VP/Strength relative to not leaving, much more if not on the last day.
So, evacuating that space is advisable only, if the unit would otherwise be eliminated (without compensation) or if it is taking space another unit with more strength needs. Even eliminating isolated allies isn't worth it, if it means leaving the space.

OK, I got it the wrong way, but the fact remains that these VP are much too valuable. A 4-Strength unit staying for 5 days and leaving on the last day is worth 32 VP. Perhaps, 1VP/Str for crossing the Meuse and 1-3 VP/Str (depending on the date) for leaving the map? With the same scenario as above, these would be worth 16 VP, 8 VP for leaving on the last day.
Any opinions about that?
