What is the exact definition of this?
Does it mean that if any part of the Battle Group is engaged in 2 directions the whole Battle Group gets the negative PoA?
Thanks

This can ONLY occur as a result of a flank or rear charge when bases contacted have to turn (90 or 180 degrees) to face the attack. And either:Eques wrote:What is the exact definition of this?

1) They are already fighting to their front
2) If NOT engaged to their front and choose NOT to turn ALL bases after the flank/rear attack and are subsequently attacked in their front.

Negative POA applies to all the bases which are part of a BG which is facing in two directions.

Part 2 is not correct I believe - the POA states "fighting enemy in two directions". Therefore if you are only fighting enemy in one direction (but the BG has bases facing in two directions) this POA does not apply.stancolleymore wrote:This can ONLY occur as a result of a flank or rear charge when bases contacted have to turn (90 or 180 degrees) to face the attack. Dave - read the post fully - and are subsequently attacked in their front. So they are fighting to their front and to the side.dave_r wrote:Part 2 is not correct I believe - the POA states "fighting enemy in two directions". Yeah - I agree with the answer to the question, I was just making a general note that you must be actually fighting against enemy in two directions for this POA to count.stancolleymore wrote:Dave - read the post fully - and are subsequently attacked in their front.
