Campaign Scoring

Post by nucleus »

Just killed all the German units and vehicle in a Commonwealth campaign but was NOT awarded the 'secondary objective'. Seems like this should be awarded if you completely wipe out the enemy.

Hi, nucleus

At the moment you are awarded the secondary objective only if you manage to reach it (for example, if Julie retrieves her purse, etc...). Eliminating all enemy units/orders gives you the victory (primary objective) but not necessarily the secondary objective.

I see your point though: "I killed EVERYONE, of course Julie could take her damn purse. Give me the secondary objective!". The point is: time is crucial in this game. You could kill everyone and maybe Julie could be too late for her purse anyway. That's why we don't grant the secondary objective automatically in this case.
I'll try to speak about this with the other members of the team, though.

In the meantime, if someone else is reading this discussion, I'd like to hear your opinions. Should we grant both objectives, in the case of total enemy extermination? And if you win because the enemy has no more orders? Other thoughts and ideas?

Hi visualrob,

We should de granted both objectives and all the points for winning if :

- total enemy extermination ;

- the enemy has no more order.

My 2¢
