AI needs to actually defend more when defending provinces

Post by Dunadd »

I kind of like the way the AI often attacks all out even when in defence for certain factions - for e.g the orcish kingdoms, Vessoi etc it fits with their background well and helps the atmosphere, but with a lot of other kingdoms it becomes a bit silly.

When i'm attacking a human AI kingdom with archery or artillery across a river and it responds by trying to assault across the river it certainly makes the battle easier, but not sure that's entirely a good thing. not much challenge to it. It should be defending its own ford points or capital points, not carrying out a suicidal counter-attack across the river.

Will this change in 2.0 or will that have to wait for the final release?
