Central Asian Turkish
Hi,
In the Ally list for Seljuk Turks there is a mention of Central Asian Turkish but I'm not sure what list this refers to. Any ideas? There is no mention of a different list book.
Cheers,
Steve

Thanks though, saves me re-reading the entire book in even closer detail than I have already done.

Did this ever get resolved? Just flicked through books and still cannot find a Central Asian Turk ally list.

For my money I'd guess at Central Asian City-States - Empires of the Dragon p64?
And how old is this thread?!!

6 years, 4 months and 21 days. Which means that it probably should have been resolved by nowpetedalby wrote:And how old is this thread?!!

A very, very old thread never resolved. Could be Central Asian City State but not 100% convinced.

The other strong contender is the Later Horse Nomad - lots of references to Turks in the narrative.

Another ally thats not clear is the Sicilian Norman ally in the Komnean Byzantine list. The ally is available from 1150AD. So is it the Normans in Italy, and/or Later Sicilian (which starts from 1154AD.

Re: Central Asian Turkish
The Sultanate of Merv allied the Qarakhanids in the 11c. So it's later horse nomad. Similary for the ghaznavids.
Solved in an equally old thread for full threadomancy

Nice one Simon - I didn't know that list of allies existed. So both questions appear to be answered Alan.
