Random army list

I love the skirmish generator and especially the surprises cooked up by the random unit selection, but some bizarre combinations that keep appearing are starting to really bother me:

After playing about 20 skirmishes I've seen a T-34 maybe twice.
I went throught the different month/year combinations and saw a single t-34 available VERY rarely, even though it was the most common soviet tank.
Also partisans and fallschirmjägers often seem as common as normal infantry!
Does the random selection process use some kind of rarity rules or is it completely random?
= equal chance of getting a para scout / normal scout?

Is it possible to mod the rarity/availability of troops in the random army list in any way?

IIRC you can append your own army lists by creating a campaign with your own ARMYLIST.TXT file in the same format as the core one.

I know you can make new static lists, but is modding possible when you are not selecting a specific army list, but instead use RANDOM unit selection as seen in the attachment?

Many units I commonly encounter, such as partisans, seem completely absent from armylist.txt, so it seems the random mode does not use armylist.txt when choosing which units will be available?

If you have a custom squads file I would expect it to use that for the random selection, if that is what you mean.
