I have PC, but haven't played SL expansion yet. In PBEM the game is great - very tense despite relatively simple mechanics.

SP, however, seems a total grind. I have yet to see the AI do much of anything. Not that it's easy to beat; but it is highly inactive, unlike the new Campaign Series Middle East, for example.

There's so much I like about the game and customization - heck, I've bought them all - but it seems like there's no AI. Just wondering

The expansions are better.

Also Mods like the Total Realism Mod makes the game much harder.
