List checker is David Bannister.
Please send your lists to him at dcbannister@aol.com
Deadline for submission is 12th Feb 2016
David has assured me that he will inflict some major penalties on those submitting late lists. Not just involving hot pokers but also negative impacts on your deployment and initiative.

Re: Venta Belgarum 2016 27th - 28th Feb
Yes - just a couple of clarifications.
It is a small table 60 inch by 40 inches - so ensure your terrain fits if a large piece is used by you and you roll a 5 or 6..
No Knights of any type allowed (in case someone has found a loophole!)
If lists are submitted after the deadline, unless the umpire authorises this for extraordinary reasons, the player will receive a penalty by having to deploy their entire army in the first game regardless of who won the initative. first moves and terrain etc are still decided by Pre battle initiative.
Lastly, and important to note : this is a 30-0 scoring system used at the ITC, not the normal 25-0.
The normal scoring sheet is used but damage done to the enemy is doubled.
So if you lose your army but kill half the opponents, you would get 10 pts not 5 pts, so the score would not be the normal 20-5 but instead 25-10 (20 pts for the enemies whole army being destroyed,. 5 pts for the remains of the victors army).
This is the international Team championship scoring system and is designed to reward aggression. Slow non commital draws (10-10, few loses on each side) score less than losing bloodbaths.
Any questions please contact me on dcbannister@aol.com

Re: Venta Belgarum 2016 27th - 28th Feb
Due to a limitation of around 20 places, please ensure you email Alan and I with your intent to attend and liaise with Alan regarding payment (I understand he has paypal sorted for this as well as taking cheques)
Can I suggest early sign up as I know a number of players are intending to come .
As last year;s Saturday night meal in Winchester was such a success and well received, we will again look to run a similar evening, details to follow.

Re: Venta Belgarum 2016 27th - 28th Feb
Ladies and Gentlemen,
The following have signed up for Belgarum thus far:
David Bannister
Martyn Simpson
Alan Cutner
Richard Jeffrey-Cook
Pete Dalby
Ian Newell
Steve Brown
Paul Barlett
Derek Barlett
David Putt
David Fairhurst
lynda Fairhurst
David Fairborther
Michael Carbutt
Lance Flint
Colin Beulain
That makes 16, plus we have two players willing to share the role as King Alfred once more if we need another - so any last minute entry will be okay as we will still have even numbers.
The lists are due with me at dcbannister@aol.com by 12th February please.
The earlier note clearly stated that those submitted after the deadline, unless the umpire authorises this for extraordinary reasons, the player will receive a penalty by having to deploy their entire army in the first game regardless of who won the initative. first moves and terrain etc are still decided by Pre battle initiative. So please get in your lists!
