I found Pearl Harbor be fun start to the American campaign.
Pearl harbor to complete all is tricky as its backwards to how you expect to, nicely done devs. Once figured out becomes very easy mission.
Gets little boring towards end as not much happening, but is very fun while been attacked early through middle of the battle.
Managed to achieve all objectives and secondary's.
Found the bonus useful at later campaigns.
For me I am trying to complete campaign with as much experience as can, I am planning to then try without collecting experience see what differences are.
Managed get 1 star fighter and 37mm AA

Re: AAR Pearl Harbor American campaign
Philippines
Very interesting mission and had replay it couple times as just never had be so defensive with computer before.
Started out with;
P40 warhawk
2x M1 37mm AA
2x M3 Stuart
2x Heavy Infantry
Marine Infantry
M3 37mm AT gun
bought f4f4 during mission
I found it hard to get use to fighting withdrawal, I kept staying to long or attacked so had restart couple of times. Timing the withdrawals is hard to as to early you lose secondary objective to late you'll get hit by art. You need save as much prestige as can for next mission.
fighters and 37mm managed to keep Japanese air busy not powerful enough get superiourity but did keep bombers from doing much damage to ground force.
River are key to defencable postions. I used M3 to keep Japanese from gaining ground for extra turn as they move well and art not to effective on them. Also M3 stuarts are good cutting off Japanese supply giving me chance hit Japanese hard causing them withdrawal units and bring new units forward buys time.
Found heavy infantry to be good at defending M1 37mm AA can be switched to work as AT guns which useful with all tanks Japanese field.
Marines hold ok but there more for future campaign. Philippine recruits I used as expendable to hold out while made last move to secondary objectives, they gave me turn or 2 extra to entrench my core force. Engineers where used blow bridges only which helped restrict Japanese movement.
All objectives meet and secondary Managed hold out at secondary objectives and at Guagua.
Devs found this be fun mission made me start think in different ways then I normally would with computer game. Also was fun thinking about gaining experience versus prestige for next mission, as experince causes casualties which cost prestige. Supply system is nice and can be used to advantage.

Re: AAR Pearl Harbor American campaign
Bataan
added M2A1 105mm howitzier with truck.
Used all ground forces from Philippines mission except for aircraft.
Another fighting withdrawal
Keys are to move both sides at same time, retreat to holdable positions, used few mines this time. There are very few chances for prestige in this mission so you need withdrawal before Japanese can really start hurt you. Used mostly none core units and couple minefields to slow Japanese down rather then using core force not much experience gained this mission for me but cost vs experience cost won out as serious lack prestige this mission.
First line was only real experince earner for me.
My second line was mostly art and mines holding the japanese, mined airfield and bridge then hit there engineers with art every turn. Left Japanese repairing engineers on there turn so they couldn't really attack me. other side mountain just slowly retreated while cutting there supply lines hitting them hard falling back next move.
I used both PT boats to stop the troops landing in my rear area, by time they landed had pulled back to final positions below rivers, they landed infront my troops but moved away as be hit multiple times by PT boats need resupply.
third and final lines where after last rivers got into position entrenched and waited never really attacked my final lines held all primary and secondray objectives. The Japanese had to clear big gun and bunkers before could come after my core units so had lots time.
Not much experience but did carry prestige over from this to next mission about 50 only but not bad as no real prestige gains here and if not careful there good chance getting hit hard by Japaneses which cost lot prestiage repair.
Devs again was nice fun mission with lot possible outcomes, good planning and execution of plans are must so made me think lot about strengths and weaknesses of both my core aux and Japanese. If use your core and aux strengths and Japanese weaknesses can come out it well. Not having air units is pain as Japanese do have air assets. Mine field on my airbase and bridge stopped japanese using airfield completely making them travel further. They seemed reluctent to clear mines as I had hit there engineers hard for good few turns. My wife is Filipina says that your maps not bad at all, very similar to her home.
Mind you did annoy her when I misused the philippine recruits as cannonfodder to help hold back japanese. My answer was there not core units not personal I use american non core units to as cannonfodder when helped my core to.
