After installing the game three times, all I get when I click Start Game is a black screen ! Please advise when you can. I even had a Tech friend of mine try to get it to work with no luck ! robertahyuk Thank you

No, I'm not on Steam. I bought the disc and installed from it. Now the screen is smaller after another install but still black.
ASUS MS Windows 7 Home Premium, 64bit SP1, AMD Phenom II x4920 processor,4.0 GB RAM,ATI Radeon HD 4200. Updated the graphics cars also. Never had any problem like this before ! Help ???

Could you please post a DxDiag file?

How to get a Directx Dialog file:

1. click on "START" (on Windows 8 Press "Windows Key" + "R" and go to step 3)
2. click "run"
3. type in "dxdiag" and click "OK"
4. check through the tabs and perform all tests
5. click "Save all Information..." and save the text file to a location of your choice
6. open the text file, copy the contents, and post along with your issue.

OK, all of these tests were run by a Certified Tech and everything is OK. It won't let me attach the file to you. It keeps telling me the extension txt is not allowed. But We ran all the tests and everything checked out fine. Spent two hours going through this. I may just return the game. Never had this much trouble with any other game ever. Tried to upload it several times to you with no success.

Please try the following:

1. Double click on the game desktop icon
2. Click on Play Game button whilst the same time holding down the ALT or Ctrl key
3. A Windows box containing the game graphic options will popup behind the game launch screen. Tick the option Windowed and select a screen resolution 1024x768.
4. Press Play on exit and check if the issue is persisting

I followed the steps like you said and checked Windowed and 1024x768 and still just get a black screen. Nothing else ! Now what ! Very frustrated ! Almost $40.00 for a game that doesn't work !!!!!!

Please do the following:

1. Uninstall the game

2. Delete the subfolder named Heroes Of Normandie at the following folder:
C:\Users\YOUR_WINDOWS_ACCOUNT_USERNAME\AppData\LocalLow\Catrabbit

Please note that this folder might be hidden.

3. Install the game, but this time don't install it in the default folder C:\Program Files (x86)\Heroes Of Normandie.
Install in a different folder like for example C:\Games\Heroes of Normandie
