Hello all,
I've been eagerly awaiting this release since it was first teased over a year ago. My understanding is that it was to be a direct port of the board game.
My question is whether or not the decks are customizable (and more importantly, if card play is included at all). I saw something on BGG to the effect that the digital version does not include cards. Is this correct?
If so, IMO that is a large chunk of the game not included since the cards provide the 'fog of war' as well an awful log of capability not otherwise present in the game (including unexpected opportunity fire).
So to re-cap, is card play and/customization included in the digital version?
Thanks in advance!
Are the decks customizable too?

Unfortunately, that is correct.uncle_joe wrote:I saw something on BGG to the effect that the digital version does not include cards. Is this correct?
EDIT: Ah, I'm glad the devs added additional information below, as I couldn't recall if they had mentioned that they planned on adding them in the future. Didn't want to provide incorrect information.

Re: Are the decks customizable too?
Hi Uncle Joe,
cards are not included in this first release of the game. However we have plans to introduce them in the near future.
At the end of october we will introduce the Editor and cards are in the TBD list (together with other juicy additions)
We will explain the reason behind the card issue in a blog post on our web site in few days. I will post here when the post will be up!
Thanks again

Thanks for the info!
I guess I waited a year or so for the game, I can make another month or so till the cards are added.
Hopefully the PC/iOS version will continue to grow as the board game grows as well!
Thanks again for the response.

I hope to see the US+German army box expansions to add some new types of platoons to buy, too!

Hi Panzeh,
well I'm telling you a secret here...we managed to sneak some german and US army box units in some mission...
just to give you guys a taste of things to come.
Also we included many special units from different expansion of the base game. You can see them in the lets play popping up on youtube...

Re: Are the decks customizable too?
Will we see all of the new/KS content include for Quick Battles and Editor scenarios in the future as well?
Re: Are the decks customizable too?
Purchased this on sight when it came out. Own the boardgame too.
It's a very big disappointment that the Card decks are not included. This is what takes the came from a relatively random dice fest into a good tactical game.
The game is simple and incomplete without the Cards. Plus the assets you gain as rewards (at least in the tutorial) are not properly managed. I got them, but they were not available. At least the right assets would allow you to control the dice rolls in the correct Situation, but if they don't work
