Please add POA summaries before attacking

I posted this in the Steam forums, in response to a thread someone started about being very frustrated with this game. Please consider adding this VERY HELPFUL feature.

Something that I think would be so good for this game, and helpful to all of us:

- When you have a unit selected, and hover your mouse over an enemy unit you are thinking of attacking, show the POAs for and against each unit in a tooltip that pops up when you hover over the enemy, with a summary total +/- net POA if you attack that unit.

This way, you see exactly if you are at an advantage or disadvantage if you attack this unit.

Please, please, please add this. This seems to be the biggest tripping up point in understanding this game, by far.

I know you have the detailed tooltips, but it would be much more helpful to have a calculated list of POAs every time you have a unit selected and want to attack an enemy unit, and hover over it.

That is strange, what you want is exactly what I get when playing the game. It sounds like your Tooltip settings are on Simple, you should go into options and set the Tooltip to detailed.

As Paul59 says, the Detailed Tooltips do exactly what you want. If you don't want to hold down the CTRL key to see them, you can toggle them on continuously in the Advanced Options menu.

Well, heckfire! I guess I never turned on detailed tooltips, or at least I never used them at the right time.

I have always just seen the percentages to win, draw or lose. Now I see with detailed tooltips on I see the net POAs for my unit against the specific enemy I am attacking.

And if you don't want to leave them on all the time, you can make them appear when you want them by holding down the CTRL key while mousing over the target unit.
