Updated to v193 now only seeing black screen

After installing the v193 patch Im only seeing a black window when launching the game(I play in a window). I tried removing the "C:\Users\<username>\Documents\My Games\Order of Battle - Pacific" folder but that didnt resolve it.

Did it created another Settings folder at ....\Documents\My Games\Order of Battle - Pacific?
Rename that folder as _Settings.

It recreated the folder structure at "Documents\My Games\Order of Battle - Pacific" but all the folders it creates when the game is launched are empty, settings included. Im downloading the v193.zip now to see if maybe the update.exe file was bad.

Turned off Symantec, and reinstalled patch. Still getting black screen. Game worked fine running in a window on the last patch.

I am having the same problem. Updated all drivers, I've played the entire US Campaign on this computer and all worked fine. Any ideas?

Open the game installation folder.
Locate and select a file named autorun.exe.
Press the right mouse button and select Properties.
Click on the Compatibility tab.
Tick the option Run this program as an administrator.
Click on Apply and Ok.
Run the game

Which particular installer did you guys use? The automatic updater from the game launcher? Or the direct link from the FTP?

I used the updater from the game menu. I uninstalled the game, reinstalled, and updated FROM THE GAME MENU and I now get a similar list of errors (unable to load mono...). and the game will not start at all. I listed the game in the Norton Security allowed files.
I am running Win 7, Nvidia GT 740

Can you navigate to the game root folder and tell me if the subfolder Order of Battle - Pacific_Data/Mono exists?

Have you tried update the game via the game update feature or via the manual download?

I have Norton Security Suite but listed the game in the allowed folders. It previously ran with no issues. I updated from the game menu.

1. Installed game using installer from slitherine server. File OrderOfBattle-Pacific-SetupRelease-158.exe.
2. Launched the autorun.exe. Clicked [Check for update button]. This downloaded the file OrderOfBattle-Pacific-UpdateComp-v193.exe (into game folder Patches directory), which launched the file OrderOfBattle-Pacific-UpdateComp-v193.exe, which installed the updated game i gues?
3. Then I clicked the button [Play Order of Battle - Pacific], which generates the mono error.
4. Game fails to run.
5. No folder Order of Battle - Pacific was created inside folder My Games.

Just the windows defender software that is standard with windows 10.
