Is this a windows 10 issue?

Post by Vargas78 »

I´m currently round my dads and wanted to show him this game via my steam account on his computer. The good news is I can play it, but only on windowed mode, with 1280x768. Its a 24 inch monitor. It doesn't look too bad to be honest. But the native res is 1920 x 1080

But on full screen, it wont show the buttons for single player, multiplayer, options, credits, quit. It comes up blank (though you can see the background picture). On larger windowed mode, 1600 x 900, the bottom windows bar blocks part of the screen making selecting those buttons awkward and blocking some of the in game screen too.

I use windows 7 at home and don't have this problem, is it a win 10 issue? My dad has an amd 7700, the monitor is benq

Probably the DPI Scaling Level is set to higher than 100%.

Can you please attach a DxDiag report file?
How to get a Directx Dialog file:

1. click on "START" (on Windows 8 Press "Windows Key" + "R" and go to step 3)
2. click "run"
3. type in "dxdiag" and click "OK"
4. check through the tabs and perform all tests
5. click "Save all Information..." and save the text file to a location of your choice
6. Attach the file to your message

Unfortunately the forum engine tells me files ending txt cannot be attached. The file was too long to copy and paste onto here as well, i will try on steam and perhaps the matrix forums too.

Zip the file and attach it.
If you aren't able to attach the file here just copy and paste the contents in your forum post here.

Indeed, it's the user DPI settings that is at 125%. You need to lower it to 100%.
Check the following guide (OPTION ONE) on how to do it in Windows 10:
