Map zoom hotkeys work intermittently

Can someone please check the map zoom hotkey code? Its only working for me intermittently.
"– Map can be zoomed using +/- and PgUp/PgDown hotkeys. * restores 1:1 zoom level."

+/- and PgUp/PgDown do work but only about every third keypress. Also * zooms way in but then the zoom level gets stuck and theres no way to zoom out again without exiting the game.
