Trouble running game - CmdEaWrez.exe error

I am having trouble getting Commander Europe at War to run.

I'll click on Play and select the UK flag. After a bit I get an error message box that says, "CmdEaWrez.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close..."

I'll close this box and get another that says, "There is an error with your serial number as entered..."

But when I installed the program I copy and pasted the serial number directly from the email, so I think that's okay.

What should I do? Thanks for your help...

Sorry you are having problems. Where did you buy the game - what is your order number?

Bought it May 15th - order number 137161754.

Who did you buy from - that order is not in the database? Can you forwards your order confirmation mail to info@slitherine.co.uk.
