When an UI object (like a button) is added to the Battle window , I noticed that the object is erased from the window if you open the advanced panel. This not happens if you click on other buttons as Toggle mission info, or options, etc. Is it normal?

Where is the documentation on this subject?

What file are you adding the button to? If the screen you add has the same level as the advanced panel then it would be swapped out. You might also look at what you are using as the parent of your new button, as there is some special hide/show code for the advanced panel buttons.
