disappearing mouse cursor
I picked this game up today on steam and I am having an issue with the mouse disappearing in Tutorial campaign mission 1 turn 1. If I manage to save my game it disappears in turn two as well.
I finish my moves, and then the mouse cursor vanishes, and I have have to quit by guessing where the cursor might be.
Is anyone else having this problem, and how do I fix it?

Re: disappearing mouse cursor
Do you have any specific mouse software installed in your Windows?
Are you using a mouse or another device like a touch pad for example?

Re: disappearing mouse cursor
My mouse is an eVGA Torq X10, with matching software for programming the mouse.
I have no other devices
I should add that I am running Window 7 Ultimate

Re: disappearing mouse cursor
Can you try without the software running?
Maybe there's a conflict between the game with that mouse software.

Re: disappearing mouse cursor
Please try to disable all background programs in case these are interfering with the normal running of the game.
You can do this by running msconfig and disabling all non-windows start-up programs and services.
Then once you have disabled all non-Microsoft services, please run the game and see if the issue persists.
If it does not, please then reopen msconfig and reenable those services, one by one, until you find the program causing the problem.
A tutorial on how to do this can be found below:

Ok, I have tried this. Even with everything stripped down this is still happening.
I have uninstalled, rebooted, and re-installed just in case.

Re: disappearing mouse cursor
Can you please try with a plugging a different mouse than the eVGA one?

Yup, same issue with SteelSreries Sensai
Re: disappearing mouse cursor
Open the game installation folder and rename the subfolder named Audio as _Audio.
Does the issue persists?

Re: disappearing mouse cursor
I have done this, and made it 6 turns (No audio of course).
I went to make a purchase and the mouse cursor vanished again.
Are there log files you need to look at, or a debug mode to generate log files?

Re: disappearing mouse cursor
Please try setting the game in windowed mode and check if there's any difference.
You can post the error.log file that you can find in your Windows documents folder at:
...\Documents\My Games\Warhammer 40,000 Armageddon
This file is only useful with certain type of crashes.

Re: disappearing mouse cursor
Could you please attach a DxDiag report file?
How to get a DxDiag report file:
1. Click on "START" (on Windows 8 press “Windows key” and the “R” key at the same time)
2. Click "run" (skip this step on Windows
3. Type in "dxdiag" and click "OK"
4. Check through the tabs and perform all tests
5. Click "Save all Information..." and save the text file to a location of your choice
6. Attach the file to your message

Re: disappearing mouse cursor
Sorry don't have any further suggestions.
I'll try to see if the developer has any ideas, what it might be causing this, but it's harder to identify the cause when we can't replicate the issue itself.
