unlocking Rommel Guderian Manstein Difficulty

I just completed grand campaign 1945 east on field Marshall difficulty. I won the final scenario with a minor victory. I managed to hold onto 6 objectives. After the scenario the briefing tells me that I have exhausted the Russians and have saved Germany. I then looked through the main menu and could not find the unlocked difficulty settings. Can someone tell me where to find them? Or do you need to win the final scenario with a decisive victory to unlock them? Thanks

Hello wolfslair71, I believe the custom difficulties can only be unlocked after playing the basic, non-grand campaign. (which is usually called the 'Vanilla' campaign here). So you would have to beat the final scenario in the USA with a DV.

It is also possible to edit your windows registry manually make them available: viewtopic.php?f=121&t=36715#p345313

On iPad you can get them by beating allied corps on general, which is easy.

You can unlock them by beating the last scenario of any of the main campaigns with a DV. That includes the Wehrmacht Campaign, Africa Corps and Allied Corps. I unlocked them with Africa Corps.

You can also "force" access by using a cheat code. if you want to open a final scenario, then you can enter the cheat code for a DV and unlock them.

Frankly, the only one that I think can honestly be "campaigned" is Rommel as the others pretty much guarantee a termination of the campaign at some early point. Rommel, otoh, is very playable and I play the campaigns now that way as it forces tight equipment and reinforcement decisions, but still allows for DVs in most all scenarios w/smart play. Really fun in my opinion.

I just completed Allied Corps on General on iPad. Triumph in every scenario...but new difficulties were not unlocked

I went with the V Rockets path. Will load Marketing Garden and go through the Battle of the Bulge path and make sure to switch to FM difficulty before last scenario...

From what I know you can complete ANY of the main campaigns to unlock them. Doesn't have to be Vanilla or Allied Corps. I unlocked mine with Africa Korps.
