I got this game a couple of weeks ago, and it was working fine. Now, it brings up the launch screen, but as soon as I press the "Play Game" button, up pops the Error Reporting window, with the following text:

Any ideas? I've tried uninstalling and re-installing from Steam.
Will no longer run

Re: Will no longer run
It appears to be some sort of problem with the graphics device.
Try going to your My Documents folder, then to the Sovereignty folder, and then deleting Settings.cfg - this will reset the game settings, and hopefully allow the game to run again.
If this fails, you can also switch back to the main branch in steam to return to 1.8, rather than the beta branch and 1.9.

Re: Will no longer run
Ah, that worked, thanks!
I was playing it on my big monitor the other day, that's probably the reason.

I get the same message but I do not have a settings.cfg in my documents for the game. Is there nothing else I can do or that can be done? I dont even have the options to opt in or out of any beta on steam.

Re: Will no longer run
To opt in or out of the beta, you have to make sure that the game is not running - this includes the launcher application for the game. If there are no windows open related to Sovereignty, then try checking the task list for Sovereignty.exe and ending task if it is present (CTRL+SHIFT+ESC, then processes tab - alternatively, you can just restart your computer which is sure to get rid of it).
The settings.cfg file would not be in the My Documents folder directly, but in the My Documents\Sovereignty folder.
If none of the above proves helpful, can you let us know your system specs?
