Bugs and suggestions 1.8

After a couple of free days and testing/playing the hell out of this......

Bugs:

-Patron of the arts, medicine, does not give healers a plus one onthe healing stat. This might be becuse i had healer auxiliaries, not my own healers.

-Hit and run units retreated twice, once after taking archery, and then again, because despite retreating they still fought melee.

Suggestions

-you can influence yourself with a diplomat. Should not be needed, i trust myself :)

-spells refer to trade network etc. Trade is currently a direct trade/swap, no active tradesystem.

-Overrun should be limited to 1 time. i sometimes have horseman running around like crazy and moving 4-5 times...

-if there is forget it, but there should br a variable start in the starting political situation. now the same alliances get often made. that is good, but a little deviation might be better.

-on the diploscreen, please a button to go directtly back to y own diploscreen.

-ai should learn to defend objectives, and attack objectives. Sometimes it is so absorbed with fighting that they pass objectives without conquering them

-all cities should have a minor bonus on the battlemap when conquered. ( plundering them, diplo-hit, but gold?)

-no use for prisoners?

-Naval system needs to be improved

-heroes should grow slower, and have more small boni.

-spellcasting: spellcasting gets more expensive when my level gets up, instead of quicker. A level one spell should not need to regenerate 6 turns when i am level 5 when it did regenerate in 3 when i was level 1 :) amke spell regenerating depended on what is cast, not on caster level! ( in fact, higher level casters should cast quicker. )

-goods need more use. perhaps making some research possible based on goods. Wood could work toward siegeening, archery bonus or shipbonus, wine toward an extra diplomat, beer toward strenghtening beserkers etc etc. off course units that grow stronger should have their cost and upkeep adjusted.


that's it for now, going to test 1.9 ( wich removed the point i was going to make of annxing realms of the opposite site.... : )
